Bachoco OK Foods is seeking an Evisceration Supervisor for our Fort Smith, AR location.

 

Summary: Oversees department by performing the following duties:

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for the implementation of Company policies and procedures.
  • Assists employees with any problem, complaint, or conflict that may arise. 
  • Assists management with employee counseling, corrective actions and performance appraisals.
  • Performs data entry such as status changes, payroll, staffing, absentee and production information.
  • Responsible for training of employee on job to meet the customer specifications and procedures.
  • Responsible for the implementation of SSOP, GMP, and Food Safety policies and procedures.
  • Monitors production equipment and its performance.
  • Organizes lead person and employees in manner that efficient and effective operation of the departments.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • This is a safety sensitive position.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities: Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

 

Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

 

Computer Skills:  To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Payroll systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
