Bachoco USA is seeking an SAP Programmer Analyst for the Fort Smith, AR Central Offices.

 

Summary: The SAP Programmer Analyst provides support / enhancements in any of the modules of SAP ERP, other 3rd party purchased system or internally developed system.  

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Develops, maintains, configures, and enhances company business applications which includes both internally developed applications and purchased applications including SAP.
  • Strong knowledge of T-SQL.
  • Has skill set to implement new or maintain existing business solutions in one or more SAP modules.
  • Analyze, propose, apply, validate and release system configuration changes.
  • Define and map interfaces to existing and new systems.
  • Define required users reports and how to extract data from systems.
  • Follow up on validation and configuration of development requests.
  • Perform validation and testing of application patches, interfaces and transports.
  • Support key business users in the operation of SAP and provide solutions to problems.
  • Help key business users create training documentation during implementations and configuration changes. 
  • Follows all SOX requirements in enhancing or implementing systems.
  • Shows a positive and willing attitude in all aspects of the job.
  • Requests project assistance from management when needed.
  • Conducts group meetings or presentations within the user community.
  • Updates assignments according to Application Development standards
  • Request’s personal training or material as appropriate in meeting the requirements of the position.
  • Requires a flexible schedule for after-hours support and project implementation when required.

  • SAP ABAB is desired.
  • Write InfoSets and queries using standard program reports in SAP
  • Basis knowledge for transport order release in SAP
  • Proficient knowledge of SAP modules: MM, SD, PP, PM, FI-CO, WM
  • Proficient knowledge of the processes: O2C, P2P, Production, AP, AR, Inventory

 

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor of Science degree (BS) or equivalent from four-year college or three plus years related SAP experience.

 

Language Skills: Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

 

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.

 

Reasoning Ability: To apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Certificates Licenses:  Must have a valid driver's license and must be able to qualify for the company driver program.

 

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of ERP software, Accounting software; Database software; Design software; Development software; Project Management software; Microsoft Office software.

 

Other Qualifications: Stays current in the computer science field. Must have one or more year of experience at this level and has proven analytical skills before being considered for additional responsibility or promotion. Complies with Bachoco USA policies and procedures.
