Bachoco USA is seeking a Communications & Social Media Specialist for our Fort Smith, AR Central Offices.
Summary: The Communication & Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing effective internal communication and social media strategies to enhance our brand presence and engage with our target audience. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, creativity, and excellent communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop and execute an annual internal communication plan that aligns with organizational goals and objectives.
- Coordinate with Corporate and various departments to gather information and ensure consistent communication across the organization.
- Evaluate and adjust internal communication strategies based on feedback and analytics.
- Conceptualize and implement communication campaigns to support various projects and initiatives.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of communication campaigns and make data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Create, control, and manage content on displays across different locations through an online platform.
- Develop and execute social media content to promote our employee branding.
- Monitor social media trends and metrics to optimize strategies.
- Control and Management of Budget for HR Department, track expenses, analyze spending patterns, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Provide monthly budget reports and recommendations for optimization.
- Uphold and strengthen the internal brand image through consistent messaging and visual representation.
- Monitor and enforce brand guidelines in all internal communication materials.
- Oversee the management and content updates of the organization's career site.
- Curate, create, and distribute engaging content for internal newsletters.
- Manage and/or support employee appreciation events.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors for branding initiatives.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have a valid driver's license and be able to qualify for the company's driver program.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's or college degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as budgeting control, data analysis and statistics. Ability to apply concepts such as percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: To excel in this role, candidates should demonstrate proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and be skilled in using Canva (preferred) to create visually appealing graphics and marketing materials.
